ListShield
EU GPSR compliance · for Shopify

GPSR manufacturer, EU Responsible Person & safety warnings — managed in bulk.

GPSR requires manufacturer details, an EU Responsible Person (when needed), and safety information on every product — or you risk marketplace delistings and enforcement. ListShield adds it to your catalog once and displays it automatically on your product pages, in the buyer's language.

Manufacturer, EU Responsible Person, safety warnings & traceability — in one place.

GPSR readiness score

A live score and a clear breakdown of exactly what's missing across your catalog — manufacturer, responsible person, warnings — before it costs you a listing.

Suggested safety warnings

ListShield reads each product's type and tags and suggests the right warnings automatically — toys, candles, electronics, cosmetics — so you're not guessing.

Collect once, apply many

Save each manufacturer and EU responsible person once, then bulk-assign (or CSV-import) across hundreds of products in seconds.

Storefront widget, 24 languages

A clean, no-JavaScript product-page block that shows the required info in the buyer's language across all 24 official EU languages — no theme code required.

Technical file & evidence pack

Keep your risk assessment, applicable standards and test reports per product, and export an audit-ready compliance evidence pack in one click.

Monitoring & automation

Get alerted when a product loses a required detail, and auto-apply your defaults to new products so your catalog stays covered as it grows.

The hardest part is the Responsible Person. We help with that too.

Most non-EU sellers don't have an EU Responsible Person and don't know how to get one — it's the number-one reason merchants stop selling to the EU. ListShield shows you exactly how many of your products need one, explains what it is in plain English, walks you through how to appoint one — then wires the details straight into your product pages.

Three steps to compliant products.

  1. 1 Add each manufacturer and EU responsible person (or import via CSV).
  2. 2 Bulk-assign them to your products — with suggested warnings.
  3. 3 The compliance block renders on your product pages, in the buyer's language.

Questions merchants ask

What is GPSR, and does it apply to me?

The EU General Product Safety Regulation applies to any business selling physical consumer products to EU buyers — including non-EU sellers shipping into the EU. It's been in force since December 2024.

Do I need an EU Responsible Person?

Only if your manufacturer is established outside the EU/EEA. If your manufacturer is in the EU, they act as the economic operator. ListShield applies this rule for you automatically.

Will the widget slow down my store?

No. The storefront block is plain Liquid with a little CSS and zero JavaScript, so it has no measurable effect on page speed.

How long does setup take?

Add your manufacturers and responsible persons, bulk-assign them to products, and add the app block to your product template — most stores are set up in under an hour.

Is this legal advice?

No. ListShield is tooling that helps you comply — it doesn't certify legal compliance. Always confirm your obligations for the markets you sell into.

How does billing work?

Through Shopify. Charges appear on your Shopify invoice, and you can change or cancel your plan at any time. Start on the free plan.
